Below are movies not yet released.  Some are in the stages of production, pre-production, or just ideas.  As with any movie, plans can change so there's no absolute guarantee that any specific movie will be released.

In Production With Heavy Metal

Heavy Metal: The Movie Part 2 - An CG animated movie based on the magazine.   This probably won't have any stories from the first 1981 movie, however like the first one, it will feature 8 or 9 different stories.

In Production Without Heavy Metal

Barbarella - This movie won't be made by Heavy Metal, but it is based on the popular story, "Barbarella" by Jean-Claude Forest.  Heavy Metal printed the third episode, "The Moon Child!", which was published in each issue from February to July 1978.  This movie will be a new adventure.

War Of The Worlds: Goliath - This story is not directly based on Heavy Metal, but it is based on the popular War Of The Worlds stories.

Underwhere - A big budget animation based on the kids book of the same name by Kevin Eastman, Mark Martin, and Paul Jenkins.  It's about a boy who travels between the parallel worlds of Overwhere and Underwhere.

Heavy Metal: Unloaded - It's a series of short animated musical films.
